Arizona State Stress Management Tools Virtual Guest Lecture ft. Keren Eldad Hosted by Ms. Marisha, Faculty Associate

Here are some of the conversation highlights:

YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW. Swap making assumptions for curiosity by asking “what can I still learn here?” and watch life blow open for you.

CAN’T is not a real thing. Success takes many forms. ONE of them IS always available to you. So be honest: is it that you can’t, or that you won’t?

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. Self esteem is dependent on conditions and on other people. They’re all flaky. Learn to believe in YOU, and you’re always going to have a trusted partner.

Coach Keren’s BONUS Message: Be easy on yourself. You are doing wayyyy better than you think!

As a business coach & speaker, Keren Eldad (“Coach Keren”) is a trusted advisor to industry-leading executives and superstar entrepreneurs who are setting records at the top of their fields. Since 2016, powerhouses have sought her out to help them make significant breakthroughs in the profitable growth of their business while revitalizing their energy and defining the meaning of their entire lives. Over the last three years, Keren has developed a measurably impactful and streamlined executive coaching process to do this, while working with top organizations including: J.P. Morgan, Christian Dior, Van Cleef & Arpels, IWC, Waypoint, Beyond Capital, YPO- and more. A diplomat’s daughter and graduate of the London School of Economics, Keren speaks five languages and can easily relate her message to anyone and everyone, including her social media following of 150K. Having served in the Israeli army and emerging into coaching from crisis counseling, Keren believes in service and humor as a way of life, and comes in focused on adding value and making things better in yours. As a coach, she is accredited by the ICF, WCI and TTI Insights (ACC, CPC, CEC , C.P.M.A., C.P.B.A., C.P.T.A.), and is a top-level Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line.

Black @ DoorDash (Employee Resource Group) hosted a series of informative talks, socials and more for Black History Month 2020. My workshop series was entitled: My Black Is Beautiful: Prioritizing Mental Health is Self-Love and served as a conversation to connect, demystify and celebrate our powerful, untold truths and how that often impacts our daily experiences – in and out of the work environment.

It was an opportunity to truly step away from the outside world. Taking a moment to block out everything else and just have a comfortable space with others who look and are familiar with the same daily challenges was refreshing and relaxing. I think the session was very helpful. I would like to see such sessions provided in various aspects as a means to help bring about awareness, education and change throughout the company, and hopefully externally as well.

Teach For America: California Capital Valley Regional Team Wellness Experience

Prior to the winter break, the TFA CCV Regional team requested a wellness experience. I designed the session with the intent to establish a relaxing, yet interactive space that could provide practical wellness nuggets for participants to integrate over their vacation – and beyond. Our time together was centered around building community connection, encouraging self-reflection and expression, and the exploration of creative modalities that all served as mindfulness tools for balancing social justice work and managing personal well-being.

Virtual Exhibit

The opening meditation was so powerful in setting the tone for the experience. In addition - the invitation to close our eyes while you read or spoke was unexpectedly powerful for me. The focus on your voice and closing my eyes to eliminate visual distractions really enabled me to hone in on the power of your message. Lastly the push out of my comfort zone and to create a poem about my thoughts got me to a new level of understanding about what I need to prioritize in relation to my wellness and why it matters so much to me...I wish we had more time.

Paul C. Brunson, author of It’s Complicated (But It Doesn’t Have to Be): A Modern Guide to Finding and Keeping Love, hates Valentine’s Day. Find out why on the first episode of Tawk To Me, hosted by Tawkify Matchmaker, Marisha Dixon.

Join Marisha and Paul as they take on the concept of self-love, the pressures of Valentine’s Day, and how to find love in all the right places.

Watch Tawk To Me

I took a hiatus from “traditional” education and went into the dating industry back in 2016 and quickly became a top-performing matchmaker (yes, the dating kind) for a Stanford StartX company founded by Elle Magazine’s E Jean Carroll.  This was quite a journey that truly taught me compassion. I facilitated hundreds of introductions and thousands of interviews with people nationwide and from all walks of life.

As I picked up on common themes (mindsets and behaviors) in love, I wanted to connect with other experts in the field to talk about how to address them, so I created and hosted ‘Tawk To Me,’ the matchmaking firm’s first and only monthly web-series that brought bold personalities and thought-provoking perspectives to help our audience understand themselves and the relationships that mattered most to them.
