I spent 15+ years in education advising on and designing learning experiences, turning strategic plans into practical resources and programming that drove community engagement, and helping organizations and their people find language for what they were living.

Then my body demanded a pause I couldn’t negotiate. I took an unpaid mental health sabbatical and moved back into my childhood home where I first learned how to be “good,” “useful,” and “fine.” That return was ruthless. It reminded me how easily we call self-erasure maturity and how often the world praises endurance while our inner life quietly deteriorates.

The Exit Strategy began as a personal manifesto I wrote from the in-between. Now it’s a world I’m building so people in transition can find language, resources, and community while becoming.
