I believe spaces that are dedicated to reflecting on and sharing our stories is a restorative art form that allows us to build communities and sustain harmonious relationships with ourselves and one another. Society, schools, workplaces, communities, and our family units are facing immense challenges requiring us to break down barriers that separate us. I collaborate with creative leaders and audacious thinkers to erect environments where love, expression and connection are accessible. m s. Marisha is an educator, entrepreneur, and storyteller whose interests sit at the intersection of personal wellbeing, the arts, tech, multimedia, and social impact. She uses written and visual language to design provocative, interactive spaces that help others examine the mysterious stories of themselves, the world, and one another.
She has been fortunate to invent a unique professional path that reflects her creative expression, community building, and teaching expertise. Ms. Marisha has served as a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University teaching Stress Management courses to undergraduate students, advised and facilitated corporate wellness programs for multinational brands, acted as a matchmaker to busy executives in search of their other half, and currently, she is the Chief Experience Officer of ZENtertainment™ Enterprises – a Black, woman-owned boutique experience design firm that uses the power of immersive entertainment and storytelling to connect conscious brands to consumers who want what’s essential to thrive.
Her superpower lies in her ability to feel and foresee the needs of people, identify trends, and deliver strategic programs that are relevant, fresh and personalized to address the priorities of those she serves. Brands such as Chopra Global, DoorDash, Tawkify, and Teach For America have sought her voice of reason and risk-taking as a consultant, content creator, and collaborator.
Ms. Marisha is on a mission to reimagine how we live, learn, love, and lead by quarterbacking strategic partnerships, curating immersive experiences, and directing and producing meaningful media that awakens the senses, promotes connection, encourages self-betterment, and ensures restoration.
Ms. Marisha has a Masters degree in Educational Leadership and obtained her Bachelors in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Services and a double minor in Spanish and Psychology from UC Davis. When she’s not building her empire, you can find her sending memes to loved ones, adding songs to one of her Spotify playlists, uploading images to her Pinterest vision boards, taking a nap, enjoying a snack, watching a documentary or standup, or somewhere outdoors soaking up the Phoenix sun.
